I am looking for new tires on my 2014 1500 ltz with 18" option, the goodyears that are on there suck, they spin all the time, winter is coming and wondering what my options are, the truck is stock with 80,000 miles.

You got 80k with the SR-A's? Wow...

Interesting. I've got 60k on mine but I have never really liked them. Gonna replace with Duratracs before snow.

Are you looking to go a larger size than stock?

possibly, not sure what will fit, i want the new BFG KO2's , but not one for the 18" version, the 31x10.5 are on sale at fleetfarm for $168 ea. and i wonder if they will work.

Is your truck a 4 wheel drive, is it stock height or is there a level kit on it?

Dude that is amazing I could not stand the goodyears more than 25000 miles on my 2014 and do not like them on this 2016. There is no way that I will put up with crappy tires for 80000 miles. Michelins are in my near future.......

Yes, its 4x4 and stock leveling.

You've got 80k on your 2014 already?

I replaced mine with Cooper Discoverer AT3 & couldn't be happier. Same size but thses have a wider cross section at the tread & look great

I recently went with Pro Comp A/T Sport. They have a great mileage warranty, and are surprisingly quiet. Handle fantastic on the pavement wet or dry, zero issues on dry off-road, and shed mud about as well as I would ever expect an A/T. Went through some stuff just last weekend that I am positive the BFG's would have never made it out of.

I had stock 265/70R18 Michelin LTX AT2's on my 2500 and they were just plain lousy. But I need a tire that covers the full spectrum... muddy gravel roads, farm/ranch off road, heavy wet or drifting snows, highway to town, etc. I have 1.5 miles minimum to cover on gravel roads get to the highway. Other directions, even longer to get to hard surface road. I put on the next size up... 275/70R18... BFG AT KO2's. Totally a world of difference. A very good tire for all my needs. Ride is much better and handling on loose gravel is fantastic. Well worth the money. Surprisingly quiet for an LT all terrain tire.

I was very happy with the A/T3's on our '10-1500 in some crazy snow storms here in Mi.

Keep us posted how you like them once the snow flies!!!

The AT3's do great in the snow. I had those on both of my Silverado's the past few winters here in PA and was quite impressed over the BFG's I used to run. You should not have any traction issues from those Coopers.
