I'd help but the iPhone does not have that functionality so I cannot say. Have you tried turning blutooth on then back off to see if resetting the connection helps?

 

I have issues getting the truck to recognize carplay every now and then when I plug my phone in. Not often but has happened more than once. One thing I can say for sure is these systems are finicky! Although I will take this feature 90% of the time over 0% of the time

I'll give that a shot later tonight on the ride home where I'm sure to have an issue. I wish it was more consistent in working correctly.

I have the 2015 Silverado with Pandora icon. I have found that if I pair to my Samsung galaxy s7, that when I press the Pandora icon on truck, my phone will show the linking and Pandora will start with Bluetooth. The trick is, I cannot ever turn my Bluetooth off or the next time it will give me the error "check your connected device" or "no internet", if this happens I have to start from scratch unpairing and pairing it back and with the key in accessory position. I hope this helps someone or someone can tell me as to why I have this issue.

I have the same issue with my S7. I find if I open Pandora app and go to settings and in the advanced area there is a check button to auto connect. I turn that off and back on again and it works for a few days then back to not working. Maybe the infotanment system on the truck needs to be updated but I am out of warranty. If you have a warranty take it in and see if there is an update for it. Might help
