Tailgate Hinge right, gm# 23439650

Already my tailgate assist feature does not work. It turns out a hinge is bent and/or wore out after 20k. Tomorrow I'll I'll install new parts. Looks like I'll need a star bit to Remove old hinge wondering it's size?. I Like the feature so got.new parts.

I Reported the malfunction to the Dealer at last oil change. They said it was a no go on my warranty claim. And then sold me these two parts. Gm# 23439650 and gm# 229669

Must have been the part was over the bumper, not between the bumpers on the bumper to bumper warranty.
