[emoji23] - My custom mirror harnesses has nothing on this retrofit! Can't wait to see his.

So for clarification, this retrofit is for a Yukon that didn't come with it. However, the title says Sierra/Silverado. Am I confused here? @cmatt, remind me again... is this going in your Silverado/Sierra or in a Yukon? I thought I remember making you a headlight harness for a yukon headlamp test.

That's correct. I'm doing this for my Yukon. For the Sierra/Silverado, the electronics should work. The custom interior work will be interesting.

I'll be sending my BCM to Chris this coming week to program for OEM HIDs.

I have many connectors and terminals from

My harness research trials that didn't fit. Bugs the heck out of me that it's so difficult. Gonna give this another go and do another search.

I thought the correct connector (with the white leads) is the Service Connector listed in Upfitter and is Part # 13576542. Are you looking for the just the connecorr?

Correct again. I'm hoping to find the naked connector so I can use the proper colored wire...and maybe offer a custom harness.

It's actually both. He has a Yukon, I have a Silverado. He started the retrofit, I joined in but was unaware that he had a Yukon.

He's planning on repinning the connectors with correct color coded wire. I'm not nearly that anal, as soon as I get my HUD I'm going to splice it up and hook it up. Should be done around the same time. [emoji12]

This is true.

I thought about doing that initially, but between my business and my full time job, I just don't have the time.

What about unpinning the Service Connector you have? You mentioned making a custom harness. In that case, I understand the need for the bare connector. Be careful.. Like stereojnky said, business, full time job, family... Making customer PnP harness for the mirrors takes up ALL my time LOL. Luckily, I work from home and can build harnesses in between conference calls and such, but mostly late night building.

This HUD Connector looks VERY close to the the e-AIT II series connectors made by JST. - AIT-II connector

The is where i got my Rear View Mirror (10-pin) connector from. If you scroll though the PDF, it doesn't show an 8-pin connector. Has everything else, but 8-pin. Even the 4-pin HUD switch connector looks close.

Then I thought it was an ARV Connector also made by JST. This is what is used for the 18-Pin - X510 Mirror Connector. ARV connector

They only make 12, 18, and 22 pin connectors. I WILL find this connector for you LOL!

That's my plan. Having a hard time releasing the terminals without damaging the connector.

The 4 pin AIT-II connector in that link is the correct one for the switch.

I think it is the Kaizen one. Just can't find anybody who carries it.

As I look at the HUD connector closer, it looks identical to one of the Park Assist Sensor connectors for the Park Assist Module. It is also an 8-Pin connector. Difference is keying. Keying is centered for the Park assist module.

Grind the keys off hehe ;)

if Cmatt is being OCD on color coding wires, I don't think grinding off the keying is an option [emoji23]. I'm the same way. He has the right connector with the leads pre-terminated that is obtainable by GM by the Service Connector Part #. But no one stocks these Yazaki Connectors anywhere. We have the Yazaki part #, bit no availability. I had the same issue with the Park Assist module. But mine came bare and I loaded my own wires.

Did your connector come with the pre-terminated leads installed in the connector?

That's interesting. The one I bought for my Park Assist Sensor module came bare. Thanks for sharing.
