Off-road suspension flex

How far can you safely flex these trucks off-road? I recently had to do some mild off-road ditch flexing backing up to a campsite..my off-road screen showed 7-9 degrees on the axles. Just curious after seeing that older gm propaganda commercial where the bed and tail gate sent from the strain lol

Unless they changed it for 2016, I thought the DIC screen only indicates the angle at which the whole truck is tilting. Not how much the axles are bent in relation to the frame.

Did you get any wheels off the ground? These trucks have a great stiff chassis and can handle any amount of twisting you can throw at them. Zero worries.

Negative on any wheel lift. But the twist was pretty good. I more or less worried about causing warping or screwing something up from having the truck articulate like that

In that video it was the competitive truck that 'bent'.

Well yes, but you know as well as I do that, im sure gm lost a few tailgates that day too

No GM uses a very stiff fully boxed frame, the Super Duty at that time was still using a C-channel frame. Now it is a draw as everyone uses stiff fully boxed frames.
