Sold the GMC

So after a long wait and ordering process. I sold my 15 gmc gasser. It was a great rig and loved the look but the lag in the gears I hated and wanted more power.

So I bought a 17 f250 powerstroke, I am 110% satisfied, I am not brand loyal at all but out of all the diesels I tried ford had the best interior comfort, features and the trucks looked great not to mention the led headlights are out of this world!

Will I ever go back to gm? Maybe but right now I'm with ford and plan on keeping this truck.

My dad drives a 97 dodge diesel, mother drives a 2000 ford diesel. Last of the best before all the EPA nonsense. The last Ram diesels 2002 we had were nightmares and of course the Ford 6.0s. I don't personally have experience since we all went with gas since those nightmares. From what my customers tell me if you use the modern diesels for work and long distance driving there're fine. They don't like short drives and tooling around.

If you're happy, that's all that matters IMO. :happysad:

Inside must be nice, but the huge [ ] leds up front look like the ugliest design idea since the slanty headlights of the 03-7 chevys - they are way out of proportion...

Did the truck come from the dealer with a lift? Nice looking truck and it must have been a tough decision! I looked hard at a RAM diesel because of the manual transmission being offered. I personally prefer the looks of the gm by a considerable margin over any of the others.

Naw I custom

Ordered it from the factory and put the lift on myself. It's a 6" BDS lift with 2.5 fox coilovers and 2.0 fox shocks all around with 2.0 dual steering stabilizers.

The new SD's look like they have a small lift kit stock. The truck looks like it got taller/more ground clearance. Your lift must make that truck feel like a house on wheels. Nice truck man!

I must say though i am not a fan of the twin bar grille and gigantic headlights. They just don't flow. Looks even worse on the 2018 f150.

Nice truck. Earlier Super Duty trucks were wider than the GM trucks, which is good, if you want more room for 3 across. A friend has had a couple Super Duty trucks that I've driven a good bit towing horses. Good power and suspension.

It's an amazing truck and the rear space for passengers is huge. Engine pulls strong. This truck is big though when you put a 6" lift on it!
