Just bought a used 2016 with some type of leveling kit. Not sure what I have and whether it is just the front or rear suspension. Can someone help identify what I have. Truck has stock rims with 305 BFG A/T tires.

thanks for the help!post-176483-0-74436500-1503370822_thumb.jpgpost-176483-0-25518300-1503370824_thumb.jpg

The rear looks stock, the 1/2 tons came with a 1" thick block in the rear between the axle and leaf springs. Do you have a pic of the top of the strut on the front because that little plate don't look like it does anything other than add to a level as an addition to an upper strut spacer.

Rear is stock. Front just has a small spacer. Looks 1/4" thick so lifts about half inch

Welcome to the forum! As suggested previously you probably have a spacer on top of the front shocks/struts. Good eye for notifying these modifications and I am curious how this level influenced the purchase of your truck. Was the truck from an auction?

Have a look at the top of the strut as well. It can be hard to see but there are a few companies out there that use both a bottom and top spacer to give you 2-2.25" in the front. I've got the 2.25" in mine and the top is very hard to notice.

Yea, I leveled mine with a 2" shackle, so that 1/4" spacer doesn't make sense that it would do the same.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you have that backwards. I thought I read on a manufacturer's site that had leveling kits and they had a disclaimer saying that the physical lift is less than the " that the kit says. So for a 2" kit the actual lift is less than 2". I think they even said what the actual lift. I want to say it was Motofab, but can't be for sure. So that little 1/4" spacer on the bottom is probably to make up for the top spacer to make it the actual lift that the kit says.

Here is a picture of the top of the shock and an overall picture of the truck, the driveway is slightly slanted so the truck is as well if it isn't obvious. Whatever leveling kit is has makes it look good so that helped when I bought it but didn't play a huge role.

I don't think that's a spacer. I think that's just the isolator

so it sounds like the truck only has a slight (1/4" to 1/2") leveling lift in the front?

Ya looks like the only mod is the thin spacer on the bottom of the struts. I don't understand just having that one small spacer on the bottom without a roughly 2" spacer on the top of the strut. Especially since you can gain more clearance by removing that plastic valance from the bottom of the front bumper. I don't think that 1/4", give or take, spacer will do any harm so it's up to you if you want to keep or remove them.

1.25" stock block ;)
