"Tesla Named Next Automaker in Emissions Cheating Scandal" Nothing surprising there, Tesla vehicles are powered from the electrical grid which still is overwhelming dependent on carbon based non-renewables , all Tesla has done is shifted the blame game to the electrical producers. Now if every Tesla had solar panels on it's hood ,roof, and trunk surfaces I would buy that it's a more "green" vehicle.

And I forgot the batteries wear out also.

lordathey Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 This doesn't surprise me at all. Seems like companies would rather pay a fine then actually invest in fixing their emissions systems.
Coby7 Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 My neighbor parks his Tesla S near is 2k windmill where he has a battery pack and a 48VDC to 220 AC converter charger. I'd say he's the greenest driver I know. If I had his cash I'd probably do the same, not sure I'd drive that beautiful machine in the winter on our vehicle dissolving salted roads though.
