2019 T1XX interior exterior dimensions vs pervious generations

Feel free to post any relaveant info on interior or exterior dimensions vs previous generations. 

 

For crew cab the new t1xx is up +3 inches from k2xx and +5 inches from gmt900 rear leg room. 

 

Gmt900 07-13 Leg room front 41.2 rear 38.7

K2xx 14-18       Leg room front 45.27 rear 40.93

T1xx 19-23?     Leg room front 44.5 rear 43.8

5 inches, holy crap, that is a lot of leg room

 

a new S class has 43 inches of rear legroom. Our trucks will have more leg room than an S class, lol

Honestly, if you need more room than my 14 has, you need to shrink or something.  I’ve never understood how you could be cramped back there.

Does anyone know if there will be a flat floor in the rear?

From the videos and pics it is nearly flat but still a small hump in middle. Fold rear seats up and now a permanent, protruding up divider to keep things under back seat.

They definitely got something wrong with those dimensions.

2019 crew 6.5' box can't be 205.5"

 

A 2018 1500 regular cab 6.5' box is 205.6"

 

 

A 2018 Canyon crew (212/224) is longer than what GM posted for the 2019 1500....????

I emailed gmc about the incorrect dimensions for the 2019.

 

educated guess:

 

Crew cab short bed overall 230-231”

Crew cab standard bed overall 240 - 241”

GM moved the front wheels forward and shortened the engine bay to enlarge cab. Bed lengths did not change but truck grew lengthwise by 1-2”.

I've got long legs.  I'll probably notice that 1" missing in the 19s in front.  Hopefully not.
