Those are pretty good prices, where are you buying? A dirt king UCA won't do you any good if you're putting in an LT kit soon, you'll have to replace them with longer ones once you get the kit.

If I were you I would just keep it stock for now and save up for the LT kit to put it on sooner. No sense in wasting money on an intermediate kit.

Well I have a clunking in my front some where. Dealer told me the ball joint is needing to be replaced (60,200 miles on a 2015 with a procomp 2” adjustable strut level and 305/45r22s) I tested it and no play or wiggle at all. Not sure what the clunking noise is but it’s annoying so I’m going to replace the UCAs. For a uniball kit DK is the cheapest. I realize the UCAs are different as well as the coilover mounts but those are just for now. There’s a good chance I stay away from the LT just cause it’s upwards of almost 4K being 4x4 and that doesn’t include the proper coilovers, so I might just do a mid travel like I was planning and with some offset wheels and the fiberworx genders to give it the appearance. Still will have most of the function of a LT being midtravel but won’t be able to jump whooptydoos (don’t really have those in fla haha) (also don’t really need 13” of wheels travel) trucks also gonna get rear 2.5 shocks from king or fox (piggyback or resi) and be done there depending on what front setup I go with.

The kings are on sale from autoanything.com

Have you tried re-torquing the coilover bolts and ball joint bolts. This eliminated my clung and should be down after driving for a little bit after installation.

Man, I’ve read your thread, you’ve had one hell of a run trying to get leveled out. You could have saved some major coin and went with bilsteins. Fox seem to be overkill just to achieve a level and no off-road in mind. Truck looks good though dude!

If my truck was a road queen maybe, but considering I’m in backwoods I’m fine with Fox. My problem isn’t the shocks it’s the morons at 4 Wheel Parts.

It’s all moot anyways. I’m getting either a TrailBoss or Rebel at end of year. 2019s are looking good.

Right now it’s just the struts and I’ve jacked the front end up and wiggled and shook both the UCAs and struts and not a single bit of movement. I’m taking it to the alignment shop Monday. I think it might be the cam

bolts getting loose

I got ya, I misread an earlier post that said minor shell roads and all pavement was the usage, I thought that was you. The 2019s looks nice I agree, I like the bed features, but feel like waiting until the 2020 models will be wise to get the kinks out. I can’t get on board with the rebels, I like the idea but not the finished product so far. If I am ever swayed from gm, it’ll be for a tundra when/if it ever gets a new engine and a restyle/update beyond a new front clip.

The 19 Rebel IMO looks nicer than the Trail.

I’m look at both and if neither fit I’ll keep mine.

Wife just got a new car and she’s got me itching to want one too LOL.

Yes that was the case with mine also. It was recommended to from fellow on another off-road forum on the one with the pirates. It didn’t cost me any money. It’s like re checking the torque on you wheels after a 100 miles. They may not be loose but may not me at the correct torque.

Look at the gap between your upper control arm and bump stop maybe 1/2 “ go over a pot hole and your banging the stop.  That might be generous could be 1/4”

So I took it to a local alignment shop today and they looked at it. Turns out my upper hat on the strut has a bushing that has decided it wanted to come apart and start to disintegrate lol looks like coilovers a s definite must now lol

It is what it is. Figured might as well buy it all at once haha so I got DK UCAs coming and I went Sway-A-Way coilovers. Will keep y’all posted. BTW Sway-A-Way coilovers are sold by aFe and are 0-3” of lift and if you order direct through aFe you can get 10% off. So 985.50 for what I’ve read as quality coilovers isn’t bad.

SAWs have a pretty good rep around the long travel ranger crowd, I would say you shouldn't have any issues. did you get rear shocks as well?
