Body colour would be my first choice on this particular truck and chrome would be my second choice.  Blackout is what would most would expect on a truck like this.

I personally love the contrast between black and most color trucks. I hear a lot of people push back because it's the "trend" right now. Which is cool, there are a lot of people doing it because it's cool but don't let a trend dissuade you from something you like. My brother and I used to go to local pawn shops and antique stores looking for records to play on some cheap player a friend gave us that we connected to my pops amp and speakers. Now everywhere you look every hipster has a record collection and a player, but who cares? I enjoy hunting for old records, some cool old rock and jazz records in good condition for no money sometimes and it's nice to listen to. I love bobber motorcycles from back when everyone was into the whole pro street look and now bobbers have come back around and even moved to odd garage built trash bobbers. Some people say it's just people following a trend, and sure a lot are, but if you enjoy it do it. Even if you're just on the trend why bother to try and find something unique? You're driving a truck they sell tens of thousands of, in a factory color, with a bunch of slap on mods so anyone that has that crap and says your's isn't unique should look in the mirror.

to add to it...i'd be cool to linex or rhino line the lower part of your truck...below the molding strip...(if that makes sense)...protective for an off road truck and cool...(stole this pic...your truck would look better IMO)

I came really close to doing the grill surround body color.  But I like the way this came out.
