Features I never touch

There are a few features that I rarely if ever use/touch.

Traction control, Stabilitrak (always enabled), and the hill brake assist.

Does anyone actually mess with these on a regular basis?

The one I rarely use is the adjustable pedals.  Glad I have it because with my legs I like my pedals as far away as possible, but once set, I haven't touched it since.

ya, I never mess with that one either once I initially adjusted it along with the seat and steering wheel.

Yes, every time i get a carwash i disable TC and Stabilitrak - makes for a fun entrance to the road leaving the car wash, IF there is no traffic coming of course and if the bed is empty.

I get into places all of the time where the TC comes off ie pulling my camper off of wet grass. I've also used hill descent again with the camper. A few campground down in valleys it's nice just locking the truck in at a controllable speed.

So it more of a how you use the truck.

I rarely fold my mirrors.

Fun topic!  The most basic trucks from the factory now have what I consider the most commonly used options as standard equipment.  Features like power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and automatic transmissions are standard features (my first two pickups/daily drivers had none of these)  We could be very comfortable and manage well with the basic features.  but have developed a need for other frills.  Some of the features like back up cameras are safety options and should/will become standard.  Items like adjustable pedals and folding mirrors I wouldn't add if they weren't part of a package.  There are times when I had multiple drivers living at home where pedals might of come in handy and folding mirrors were handy on my weekly ferry rides.  A feature that is unnecessary for one person may be very useful for others.

Don't say that here, you will call the safety trolls out of hiding. Surely they will be here any minute to call you an idiot for spinning a tire and tell you to buy a Corvette.

TCS/SCS, A/C, Torque Management, OnStar, power pedals, telescoping wheel, GPS, back sliding window. Basically a WT would be fine for me but I like leather and the 6.2L

I agree.  It is nobody's damn business if I want to turn or change lanes! ;-)

About 95% of drivers around here agree with you.

I was always taught to signal only when there is someone to signal to. Otherwise, you are just wasting your signal's bulb life ;)

I also never turn it on in a turning lane until the light goes green so I don't have to listen to clicky-clicky while sitting at a red.

Those two are the FUN buttons. They are turned off when I want to do donuts, fishtail or generally annoy my wife in the winter. The kids love it though!

But yes, I almost never touch those buttons under normal driving circumstances.

The other function I never use is 4 auto. I either want it in 2wd or 4wd. Not stuck in drivetrain purgatory.

But that may be a touchy subject for some.

I used to think back sliding windows were silly, but my last 2 have had them and it cuts down on the wind messing up my beard with the windows down....

Your strategies are good for the environment.  You're saving discarded bulbs from the landfill and burned blinker fluid polluting the air we breath.   I think hand signals are the future!
