I finally tinted my truck. My buddy who owns a window tint and remote car starter business was out with shoulder surgery. Longest 2 months of my life without tint. I tinted the entire truck with 30% window tint. Went over the back for the kids to make it a bit darker than factory, and also put on a 5% strip on over front windshield. Nice and cool in the truck now! 

 

Iowa has terrible tint laws, so we can't go real dark on front windows. I used to go 5% all the way around when I didn't live here.

Mine is worse. Toddler grabbed my keys and dropped the tailgate while the garage door was down. I came outside, slapped the door opener and started to load her into the carseat when I realized I kept feeling a slight bump and hearing some rubbing noise at same time. 
 

By the time I climbed out of the back seat the door was past and I have a nice gouge in the paint there. 
Thankfully the aluminum doesn’t rust.

Started tinting my chrome this morning. Figured a white truck would look good with white in the cab. So, I ordered some satin white vinyl. I think it’s turning out really well. And most importantly, I’m not getting blinded by the chrome. Still gotta finish the rest.

About about to do the same in carbon fiber black.

I’m assuming the chrome around the AC vents does not come off of that piece?

Not sure. I’m gonna poke around on youtube. They look like they’d come off. But, if I gotta wrap em in the truck, that won’t be too awful bad.

Washed it in the rain that would let up and start let up and start. Pulled in the dry off
