Fogs on with park/head lights

Any way we can get the mirror work lights to stay on while the truck is in drive? I didn't realize the truck had to be in park for them to work but they it makes sense from a DOT stand point.

I would just like to know how to have the mirrors open up when you start the car.

I would at least like for the mirror lights to turn on with the cargo, bed, and reverse lights along with fogs when unlocking...to light up the parking lot lol. Iam sure it’s possible as I had my cargo lights wired up with the reverse lights and they would come on after pressing unlock on remote on my 17. I just need to find the rest of the sheets that the OP attached to figure out whwre to slip in the diodes

Found the info. So far I was thinking of putting a diode from pin 18 module X2 (gray wire) to pin 4 module X7 (gray/blue wire) and this way have the cargo lamps come on with the bed lamps and have extra light when unlocking vehicle at night or when loading up the truck bed at night.

What do you guys think? I would like to include the mirror perimeter lights but I couldn't find them on any of the modules...perhaps I overlooked it.

I need to try that. Really wish these trucks came with led reverse lights, there is no output from the stock bulbs.

Hopefully someone finds something with the mirror lights.

My fogs already turn on independently. If I have the lights in Auto and its dusk and they're not on yet, my fogs will come on no problem.

Which ones should we bridge to make the cargo lights come on with reverse lights? I had that one and it was nice to unlock from far away and see all lights come on and shine through the parking lot!

Did you ever figure out how to do this? Do you have a link for the diodes?

I'd like to get my fogs to stay on with high beams as well, if anyone has more info on how to do that I'd appreciate it

I attempted to do it but as the connectors are smaller and I was not able to stick the diode in. The OP mentioned to use wire jumpers but I need to have some time to just pull the connectors out and try and stick the diodes in.

Gave it a go earlier today and inserted the diode. The brown connector comes off easily but the wires are so close together that the I couldn’t get the diode to work. The fogs were not lighting up with the drls. I’ll probably have to order the wire jumper that the OP requested or maybe give it a second try later. I know i struggled a bit with my 17 but not this much lol

Finally got it done guys here it goes!

Jumper wires from amazon in variety of sizes!

Super easy to do with the jumper wires from above. When inserting into slots 10 and 22 make sure that you try from all for corners of slot and pic the where it fits most snug.

After having it for a few days. I discovered it goes on with park lamps which I misunderstood for DRLS...so basically fogs will kick in when your low/high beams are on at night or if you turn the knob into park lamps. I tried using pin 7 instead of 22 to see if fogs would come on with DRLS but I couldnt get them to work. So I went back to pin 10 and 22.

Still want to try the others this weekend and report back If I have other successful turnouts.
