Are the Normal / Sport / Offroad Modes effective when this is installed or do they do nothing when engaged?

 

Also, I did see some posts about voiding warranty, which I am sure is the case. Has anyone experienced long term engine issues from these?

I have used it for a total of 30 min of driving, I just got it yesterday. So I can't really answer your questions. I did not use it with Sport mode but I would as Sport mode does things this will not (tighter steering etc).

 

As for warranty. It took 5 min (or less) to install. If I ever took my tuck in for any service I would pull it out. It does not (actually can't) write to or re-program your ECU so there would be no record of it even having been installed.

Can this happen?  Absolutely.  Recently bought my wife a 2017 Tahoe with low miles, it went in to limp mode a week or so after we bought it and left my wife and kids stuck.  I brought it to my shop and discovered it had a pedal commander (which I was unaware of) that had caused communication issues.  Fortunately the fix for me was simply to remove it, and clear the codes.  Had it been ran through the dealer, there would be a risk of voided warranty.  

 

Also, I had a Hypertech on my 2019 Silverado for tire size correction.  I had intermittent communication failures that almost mirrored the description in the TSB perfectly, which left me stranded three times.  After removing the device, truck is back to normal.  Again, had that made it to the dealership, my truck would be flagged for suspected tampering.  

I don't like it, t just making ya'll aware.  I am batting 0/2 with ALDL devices.  

Takes less than 5-minutes to remove before going into dealer, they would never know you had one installed. 

 

I don't have one on my Silverado yet, but had one on my ZR2 Colorado and liked it a lot.

Just installed the Banks Pedal Monster. $295 delivered FedEx 2nd Day. Just what I was looking for to get rid of that sponge pedal. 15 minute hookup and ready to go (also have the idash installed) Set on city about 6 bars, instant response.     • It was never mandated.  Ever.    Automakers were incentivized to install it by getting CAFE credits to help with their vehicle fleet fuel economy scores.  They were being handed money/CAFE credits to install it.  Which is NOT a mandate.       The current admin removed the incentives that were behind them installing it.

Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall.     • I went another direction after losing a trailer tire, thanks to not being able to access air at ANY of the 5 gas stations and garages I stopped at prior, with a Toyota Tacoma onboard, 50 miles from the Canadian border.
