Has anyone used one of these yet?

Whats the advantage of this over a tuner that does a lot more then just manipulate the throttle body?

I don't even pretend to know how the tuners work (yet) but for that kind of money, I'd throw in a bit more, buy a tuner and learn. My truck pedal is pretty responsive, much more tip in and I will slide all over from a stop on wet roads. The truck doesn't respond like an older system if you "blip" the throttle but I'm not needing to do that.

It does nothing for performance and is actually old tech. Just ups the pedal voltage to make the pedal more responsive. Waists of money. Better off getting a tuner or a shop tune it.

Same thing as a Pedal Commander and other throttle body enhancers.

The K&N unit is slightly cheaper.

These only change the Throttle Body itself and are not as sophisticated as a tuner.

I tried a sprint booster, I liked how it improved part throttle response, but full throttle actually made my truck slower. Acceleration would come on faster but my truck would not go into kickdown mode, despite the pedal being completely floored.

Seem to be no reports of this with the Pedal Commander.

I haven't tried the pedal commander, but I'm willing to bet a lot of people don't realize this happens. It accelerates hard, with less of a lag but it is definitely not kicking down to the right gear and this isn't a matter of me just not feeling the shift (its not making it). I'm guessing because its going wot that much sooner in the throttle input, the computer's deciding it can't make it happen because its all ready going balls out at half throttle and kickdown mode is activated right at the end range of the pedal. I don't think this position changes at all even though the unit is sending a higher voltage.
