Rain-X Expert Fit Beam with Rain-X washer fluid. Expert fit beam is same as OEM design and performs just as well in my experience. Wal-Mart has them for $9.95 each in store or online, so a fraction of OEM cost. I went to the Rain-X washer fluid when it first came out and am still blown away at how well it performs at beading water off the windshield, don't even feel I need to use the wipers sometimes.

OEM first on any brand of vehicle I own. If not available, or if Bosch is the OEM provider, I'll go with Bosch. I've dealt with too many other blade brands and OEM always ends up being the best overall value.

I use Rain-X washer fluid as a standard, and that does make a big difference regardless of blade.

I had to use my wipers a little bit today. The Latitudes were quiet, but left a little behind. I expect that will improve as I use the blades.

Interesting subject as I too am in Florida getting ready for the rain. The more I read the more I will bite the bullet and go OEM. I am sure others work but I don't want to play musical blades to find ones that satisfy me. I went through that on my Accord and Civic...tried multiple brands and finally went back to OEM on those two so maybe I'll just skip (no pun intended Skippy) to OEM and avoid the hassle.

You liked the OEM blades?

My OEMs sucked dude. Hated them! They skipped all over and barely took a damn thing off the windshield.

Yeah, at least on my two Hondas and TBH, the ones that came with the truck are 7 months old based on the build date (5 months of actual use) and are just starting to leave streaks on the drivers side (of course) so I just figure I will stick with what works for me. As for Rain-X I tried it in my 08 Avalanche and just the Accord (not the Civic, both are 2015's) and it always seems to leave a weird film looking appearance after using. However, my son uses it in the Civic and loves it so I may try it again and see...or not see if I get crappy wiper blades

I recommend the Bosch series. They are great 2. I have had my current set for 2 years now. The last set of rain x ones lasted a little over a year.

I've tried Rain X and Bosch with on luck. Both left streaks and the passenger side had a two inch arch that didn't clean. Not sure what my next move will be.

Pepper is almost five years old now and sits outside always. Still has the original blades on her and they work flawlessly. Wife's Terrain got OEM replacement blades as do the two Buicks. The Honda however got Trico and it's the first time I've ever used them so jury is out on longevity but they do clean well. Well see.

When I go to the dealership, and I know the parts guy socially, I ask for the OEM line wipers and not the AC Delco replacement blades and yes they are different. IF you don't ask you will get the replacement blades.

How do I keep a blade good for five years driving over 30K a year? Keep the windshield spotless and Rain-X coated. Clean the blades often and wipe the edge down with Rain-X. Use the noggin when it is icy. Most blades don't wear out, they tear out. IMHO.

I agree that keeping the glass clean is the top priority, not only to help driving visibility, but to prolong the life of the wipers. Do you not find that sunlight deteriorates the wipers when you park outside? I thought that would be a large component. I try to keep my vehicles inside when at all possible. My 2015 truck has only spent about 100 nights outside so far, and I don't commute to work with it, so it spends most of its life in the shade.

You would think so, right? Maybe it's because I put her nose against the garage door. House sits north/south. So no light on the windscreen till past about 1 in the summer. Neighbors house blocks it most of the winter past that and there I a large tree behind her past about 3 pm mid summer. Neighbor also has a 'toy hauler' that shades her mid day from the south.

Stuff fills up the garage. I need more ROOF or less stuff.

Update on the Rain-X Latitudes... I wiped down the windshield with isopropyl and now they wipe perfectly fine. We had a little rain today and it worked out good and matched my previous experience and expectations.
