The newer Honda Ridgelines have that.  That would be cool, especially if they can be LOUD and you use your truck in parades (like I do, from time to time, my daughter was "Little Miss Edwards AFB 2010," "Miss Edwards AFB 2018," and is currently "Miss Los Angeles Cities 2019").

If you want to put tower speakers in the best, those are NOT the speakers to pick (even if you are a Kicker fan, they make much better tower speakers).  If you want tower speakers back there, gets a pair of WetSounds Rev10's.  Pump each with about 300 watts RMS and you will have all the sound you ever need.  I personally run Exile SXT65 tower speaker on our wakeboat - 4 of them.  I wouldn't use them in a truck bed, though.

For $1300 a pair they better sound unbelievable, Then you need at least another $200 for an amp...smh. For that kind of money I would upgrade the cab sound and simply turn it up when tailgating.

They also make pods you can mount your own speakers into, giving you options.

Not sure where you are getting a $200 amp to push 600 watts x 2 @ 4ohm cleanly.  Depends on how loud you want the setup as REV10's are no joke.

And the price just keeps climbing...rofl.

For what it's worth, yes, you can find a solid amp capable of pushing 600w and then some for $200 or less. Not everything needs to be audiophile quality. My $500 in additions on top of my Bose factory setup gets plenty of thumbs-up, has more than enough power when cruising down the highway with all the windows open doing 70, and is unnoticeable to most who look for it in the truck. And not a single Kicker piece of equipment.

Dude there’s Bluetooth speaker options that are loud, would fit the bill for what you want, and would be a hell of a lot easier too lol. sit it in your bed or even throw a magnet on the bottom and stick it somewhere back there when you wanna use it. Throw it in the truck to charge when you’re not using it.

The old fashioned boom box works real well at a fraction of the cost. I got one I use at outside events never a complaint about quality or not loud enough. As far as sitting in a random parking lot full of people, it’s really annoying when someone is blaring their music. Earbuds work really well in those situations.

Man your not kidding. I was just at a birthday party for my 12 year old granddaughter. They had very good sounding music going. It took me awhile to find the speaker. A very small blue tooth. It rival my old surround sound with multiple speakers.

They are impressive little things man! My wife is a manager at ATT and gets to take home display models sometimes when they get swapped for a new display. Needless to say we have a damn army of them haha. Most are waterproof too so if you forgot it in the truck bed you’d be ok.

Ultimate ears have some really nice options big and small, you can link multiple speakers together as well to put in different rooms or around the yard outside at a cookout. Those are the ones I use the most. I’ll take them kayak fishing/camping and use them a long time before they die, loud and good sound quality. We have a couple Bose, and they do sound great, I don’t know if they sound as great as the price is; they don’t get quite as loud as the UE I mentioned, but they are probably not the largest ones they make either to be fair. The Polk speakers we have no longer hold a charge beyond 10-20 min, wouldn’t recommend, they are nice to hang on the shower head though for a quick jam session. There’s also one made by braven she so kindly let me take to use in the garage. We have a fairly large 2 car, can’t hear it over say a miter saw obviously, but it does great in there overall.

"their" music is key.  I remember struggling with the idea of how my parents or others didn't share my taste in music or like it played at wall vibrating levels.   My wife and I have similar tastes in music but we are quite different in respect to which songs we choose to crank up the volume.  I would pursue the inexpensive options suggested and save any upgrade money for the confines of my interior.  Portable systems (boom-boxes) independent of your vehicle are much more versatile and low cost, imo.

I favor hard rock but I like most music. I did the loud in my car until I damage my hearing a little. I realize early on music can be intrusive best kept to yourself. My parents had the same taste growing up, our house was always rocking. My earliest memory was Dick Clark bandstand followed by Soul Train on Saturday’s.
