I tried search every term I could think of before I decided to post this, so I apologize if there's a thread about it already.

I was wondering if anybody knows of a place where you can buy the gloss black B-pillar (aka door pillar) trim found on the LTZ/High Country trucks. Or perhaps a GM part number since I haven't had much luck finding that either. I'm not a fan of the matte finish on my RST.

I put a piece of gloss black vinyl on the B-pillar and the texture showed through quite a bit. You could knock it down with some sandpaper, but it'd be a shame to damage the part. I may try throwing two layers on to see if that does the trick. Vinyl seems to adhere to itself pretty well, so no great chance of it failing.

There's gloss black stick on pieces for sale on ebay. I'm actually going to buy black stainless ones to match the Putco black stainless letters in my Custom grill.

Do you know how to get these pieces off without breaking any clips? I'm not a fan of the gloss actually and want to wrap mine in flat black to match my chrome delete. Wrapping always gives much better results with the piece off the vehicle.
