Correct I did have the ready lift 2' sst kit before to fit 35's. I went to the BDS kit so I could add 37's.

Awesome. I'm surprised as I've felt 4" is pretty high. Sharp truck mate,

'22 Sierra Elevation 5.3 is a dealer custom done by a local shop here. It came with 20X9 or 20x10? matte black rims (unsure of manufacturer? and actual width size?), 305/55/R20 BFG KO2s, no rubs.  Has a RC lift either 3" or 4" (conflicting info from dealer) and the plastic mud flaps are trimmed. Looks like some carpet is trimmed off also. Planning to replace the wheels sometime soon but the ones I want are backordered so I'm waiting awhile to see if they become available. Not sure if I'll go with the same tire size ?

The pics in my post above show the truck as it looked when I bought it 3 yrs ago. I did find out a little more info: it has a 3" Superlift and the rims on it are like a generic Customizers shop brand. They are 20 X 9 +12. So now a month later I have done a number of things with the truck.

 

 

 

 

The new rims are Fuel Flame Blackout 20 X 10 -18. I decided to stay with the same tires I've been running on because they still have good tread and should last awhile yet. They are BFG KO2 305/55/R20 and they have 37,000+ miles at this point. Surprisingly they rubbed really bad on the mud guards when I got them mounted, even with the 3" lift and the mud guards already cut down by Customizers. I removed the mud guards and cut them down even more, then I pushed the carpet that was under the mud guards back behind the metal lip and zip tied it, then I went to a local 4WD custom shop and they did a 4 wheel alignment and shifted the front wheels forward about 3/4". Does not rub anymore and I replaced what was left of the mud guards and looks pretty good, but any ideas I had about getting bigger tires is off the table. I would have to cut or bend the metal corner behind where the mud guards are and may not be able to put them back on at that point, so I will stick with this size when I replace the tires in a few months.

 

 

 

 

 

I also went from a single exhaust tailpipe with plain bumper to a dual exhaust tailpipe with dual port bumper. The bumper is an aftermarket from LKQ. It had to be painted and came with the black tips. I always liked the look of the factory dual port bumper and regretted that my truck did not come with it.  It took a bit of money and effort but I'm pleased with how everything turned out.

Agreed. They are as flat black as an old BBQ grill. They would look better on a truck with enamel paint, or one that someone did a custom paint job on......like camo or OD green or something. To me the trucks with a shiny metallic finish look better with wheels that are at least somewhat shiny.

Truck looks great! The new wheels definitely look better. What do the front suspension angles (cv axles, balljoints) look like with the 3" superlift kit? That was one of the kits I've considered for my truck when I get around to doing it.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Yeah looks like a fair bit of trimming.

Not much traffic here anymore but I'll post my new setup.

2025 Sierra Elevation.

Billstein 5100 Ride height adjustable shocks set at +2" in front

1" Rear Blocks from 2018 truck although the Ubolts changed in 25 to M14 and Round so you need to figure that out.

 

LT 275/70R18 Wrangler Territory MT (Stock 25 AT4X take off Wheels and Tires)

Swapped in my 285/70R17 BFG KO3s on 17x8.5, 0mm Offset Method 705s from my Tacoma to my '23 AT4 immediately after I brought it home.  The Truck has a 2" leveling kit, UCA's already, and aligned so it was a no issue install.  

Drives and tows like a champ!
