Before I put any true miles on my car ( only 76 right now) I wanted to get the paint protected...so I am getting XPEL applied right now. $1550 OTD.  Well worth the investment.

1. Front Bumpers/ grill upper and lower

2. Side fenders

3. Mirrors

4. Also 4” on the roof

PROTECT YOUR PAINT

I got it put on my 2018 before I even drove it off the lot.  With black paint I didn't want it to look like it had spots on it a month later.

Looks great but holy cow that's expensive.  I drive two tracks in the woods all the time as well as a lot of highway miles.  I never had an issue with scratches or bugs damaging the paint beyond what a simple cleaning and waxing wouldn't fix.  I live in Northern mi, are you in a State that has intense sun that makes it worse?

Paint protection film is something that will help way more for highway driving and rock chips.

Where I live I wouldn’t even consider not having PPF installed. The debate is more on how much of the truck you want it installed on.

it might sound expensive but it’s well worth the money.

Can’t wait for my 2020 to come in and once it does first stop will be at my XPEL installer. Got it on all my vehicles and it saves a lot of headaches

Was chatting with my Detailer, looks like it will be XPEL brand going on the truck when it arrives. Great product ?

325/65/18 with 1/4 spacers on all four.  If you go with smaller size tire or less aggressive you won’t need spacers.

I have it on our daily drivers (white acadia and black enclave).  The acadia is a 2017 and hasn't yellowed at all in 2 years and its parked outside at work. Enclave is a 2018 and holding up well.  Definitely worth it.  I put 30,xxx mile / year on my daily and my previous terrain front end looked horrible after 1 year with a ton of road rash.  So far only have 2 small rock chips that got through the xpel on the acadia, The windshield is another story, so I can only imagine how bad the front end out be if I didn't have the Xpel on there.

Held off on the trucks because they will go to the twins in the next year and Im assuming they will hit something anyways.

to those on the fence, definitely worth it to protect your investment in the long term.  As mentioned, the only question is how much you want to cover, for the wife's car, I had them do rocker panels as well, will add that to my next car as well when I switch out next year.

I'm not sure how that would hold up to branches and twigs on two tracks. And that may not be an issue for you.  I think I'll be using this, a lot of my friends swear by it's performance.                                                                                                                                                                                                           https://www.shinearmor.com/products/shineshield®-wash-and-wax?utm_source=smart-campaign&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6_3QgKfi4wIVgiCtBh3qUgkOEAAYASAAEgIBPfD_BwE
