Factory Exhaust re install

2018 Silverado crew cab. 

Need to put the stock exhaust back on.

Its cut in 2 pieces.

What is the best way to attach them back without welding them?

Band clamps. Especially if you don't need it to hold for a very long time. Autozone has em

I know its driving me crazy. Cant find the right tone. Found a great tone outside, but cant seem to eliminate the drone.

To be honest, it may be easier to find a stock exhaust that was not cut during removal.  With out welding, your just going to exhaust leaks.

Go to a meineke they have the machine to put a piece in and weld it. They can stretch one side. Prob under 50$ had it done in the past.

Nice thanks. Im going to put the stock back on. Wait to grab a range or a gm borla without drone. Im done with trying all these other contraptions.

I heard corsa has no drone but my buddy has a 2017 silverado with a corsa touring and it drones like no tomorrow.

They all drone as soon as you lose the flapper.

Get the range and non GM Borla catback setup and be done with it .

Easy peasy to install

I just installed a Gibson system. Also have the Range disabler. No drone on highway. Sounds good around town. Highway hardly notice

None. Gotta get the GM Borla system, it has a GM part number. Will start with 1930.

I have the Corsa Performance on my 18 and have no drone at all. I love the throaty note when in the throttle.  When just cruising down the road it's as quiet as the factory.
