Krodgers1978 Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 (edited) I have a 2019 Silverado RST and I was able to swap out the mirrors and my current harness was a perfect match, my power adjust and defrost work as before but the outside lights do not work. Harnessdoctor.com is said to be working on a new harness to make them work. Installation was pretty straightforward. Believe it was 5 screws in the door panel and 4 bolt to remove the mirror. Took longer getting everything together than it did installing the mirrors. Edited June 4, 2020 by Krodgers1978 2

panther5511 Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 I have a 2021 Silverado 1500 LT with lane assist (UKC). I want tow mirrors. I found a part 847776100 on the GM part hub web site and the dealer tells me this is for my truck. Only, it is not designed for trucks with lane assist (UKC). I don't care about lane assist and need a tow mirror. Does anyone know if I add this mirror will it work and lane assist just not work or will the truck throw an error code?

panther5511 Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 (edited) They do not. They were simply reading the text on the GM parts hub web site that says it does not. They do not know if the truck will pop an error code or the lane change alert light will just not show because the tow mirror does not have it. They did say I would need to buy a new wire harness and the BCM software would need to be updated. They did verify the part was listed in their parts DB as a valid replacement part for my truck, just not with lane change alert. Edited September 28, 2021 by panther5511
OctavianCDA Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 Hello. I have a 2021 RST with the Blind Sport detection , no surrounding view( no cameras in the morrors) and also with the extra lights on the front of the regular mirrors and I was thinking of installing some towing mirrors from like the 1500/2500/3500....I don't really want to lose the blind spot option but the 1500/2500/3500 that have the blind spot in them have also the cameras in them. I was wondering if anyone knows if those mirrors will fit ....I don't really care they have the cameras in them thta I will not use. They are pretty expensive to buy and test... because my dealership will not refund men if they don't work. If anyone has done thie upgrade or know some info on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thx.
AEmedic Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 (edited) I have a Northsky Blue (I think that’s what the color is called) 2020 HC with regular mirrors and and I want the tow mirrors, what is the best source and part number? I would consider trading for a set or buying a set of used DQS mirrors for my 2020 High Country also. I am in Boise, Idaho. Edited June 6, 2022 by AEmedic
AEmedic Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 I have contacted multiple dealers and they are unable or unwilling to provide the part number of the DQS mirrors that would work on my 2020 High Country. It might be, that, if I had the VIN of a truck that came with them they would be willing to let me order them. Does anyone here have the ability to look up the part numbers of the tow mirrors on a 2020 High Country? I need to order a set to see around my new camper!
AEmedic Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 I have been looking for the correct part numbers for the DQS towing mirrors for my 2020 High Country, @newdude helped me determine that 84994407 and 84879432 are the right part numbers for my truck. It turns out that there are three different designs in 2020. I found a set and ordered them today, hopefully all the standard features work. I may have to remove the VCM, and have it reprogrammed to correct the camera angles and I'll need to determine how to correct the issue keeping the rear facing lights from working.
