These were dealer installed. I'd have to take a closer look to see what they are.

Awesome.....really appreciate your help.  I also had a hard time deciding....but seeing them on your truck convinced me that’s what I want.  I just ordered a pair and I might ask my Line-X guy if he can put a coat on them before installation.....I think he usually charges $250 for coating a pair of running boards, but I’m gonna see if he can lower that since these Dominators won’t require any real prepping/taping/etc....the Line-X should make them impervious to New England weather conditions so we’ll see.

Thanks again.

How do these compare to the stock AT4 high clearance running boards?  I am considering both, but these are much more reasonable.  Appreciate any feedback.

Westin Pro Traxx 5 wheel to wheel with Line X coating... These were scratched & dented in shipping.  The seller refunded the full price in lieu of replacing them. I then paid $267 to Line X them.

My new AMP Research boards.  The hardest part of installing them was determining the best way to fish the wore harness down each wheel well.  Otherwise, pretty simple install.  I really like them, although they don't tuck up underneath as far as I would have liked.

Still searching for the fix for the upside-down pics.  Even if I turn them upside down in the file I load from, they still come out upside down.  Frankly, this may be the lamest Forum board I have ever been a member of... :(

Looking for something that will help the gf get into the truck, not hit me in the back of the legs as I jump out, AND serve as somewhat of an emergency rock slider. I'm clearly not heavily offroading my standard bed crew cab, but occasionally take it places it probably shouldn't go. Do any of you have these below, and would they offer any body protection in an oh ****** moment?

1. Go Rhino Dominator D1,D6,DSS (Is the DSS too narrow? Are shoes constantly hitting the body paint a problem?)

2. Westin Outlaw Nerf Bar Step

3. Tyger Auto

4. Rough Country HD2 (Probably the least of a slider on the list)

I’m happy with the Go Rhino RB10 because they hug the bottom sill of the vehicle and I liked the one-piece mounting brackets. The RB10 are 6” wide all the way across and don’t stick out too far. They already catch a good number of rocks that fly up so hopefully they reduce lower door chips.

I liked the RB 20 like someone posted but they are something like 7.5” wide at the front and taper to around 6 or so in the back. I think the design fits the Silverado a bit better than the RB10, but I was worried that the extra 1.5” width up front would stick out too much. You get a wider step for the front passenger and a bit more rock protection.

I looked at what I wanted for a long time and really wasn’t thinking about flying rocks from the tires until someone posted it. So that and a step that isn’t too low made me go this route.

I have a pair of brand new running boards for purchased from the dealer on 1/4/22 and have been on the car for a week.  I just took them off and will sell for best offer. Here is a link of the item https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-chrome-round-step-pkg-84016710
