The TCM has to be flashed before it can drive.
If you installed it the way it is, it has the OS (operating system/program) from the 2010 truck you got it from. That will not match with the VIN/OS pair that your 2013 truck has.
You can do the full install. Then tow it to a dealership and they can flash the trucks PCM/TCM with the latest program for your VIN.
have a 2013 sierra Denali. The motor let go and the trans was getting there as well. I just bought another l9h with a 6l80 already together but out a 2010 sierra Denali. Am I plug and play and drop in and bolt up no ecu change or tuning? Does the tranny have different programming is it just gonna go into limp mode? I hope the motor will directly bolt in at least I’m hoping anyway. Please help I’m no gm technician

No better here. Stayed indoors. 95F, 100+ heat index and you can taste the air. Cars/truck covered in ash. Neighborhood looks like its on fire there so much smoke.
Insane smoke out today. Worst air ever recorded here. Sunrise over the water looked apocalyptic.
Pretty bad in town as well.
Didn’t stop this guy from letting the top down in his C5 of course. He must be a heavy smoker because my lungs wouldn’t handle that so well.
