Cold Air Intake

Looking to put a Cold Air Intake on new 6.6L Gas. Never put one of these on anything I have owned so don't know if they make a real difference. 

 

Any feedback, opinions, suggestions, etc.?

Basically, they make your engine a bit louder.  It's been decades since manufacturers put a intake tube on that was too restrictive for the engine.

Opinion,  dont bother.    You already have the hood scoop there its just blocked.

 

Can someone verify the scoop is functional for the 6.6 duramax?

It is functional on the duramax only.

 

I haven't seen any companies making 6.6 intakes yet, the trucks have only been on the market for like 2 full months now.

Just got the Cold Air Inductions CAI cold air intake for my 2019 6.2 Sierra Denali and it sounds NOTHING like the same one they sold for my 2017 6.2 Sierra Denali. So bummed. Any body have any thoughts?

Where is roto-fab on production of this? I had a roto fab set up in my 2010 camaro ss and I loved it.
