yes i have a 60" by 60" roll of tail light tinted vinyl, the really dark stuff. its like a clear bra product. ill be doing the upper and lower grill with that along with the running boards. i am a fan of "black chrome" and ideally the light smoke overlaid on chrome makes it look pretty sweet, but unless you could cover the entire grille that way i don't know how it would look. so i am going to try the dark stuff (the roll was only $36.00 from amazon) so ill see how black it looks on the grille, and it should resist abrasion better than the vinyl wrap. i think the rubber treads on the running boards will pop off to make the install cleaner, ill have to see otherwise i think i can trim around them.

also have some light smoke ill do the side markers in as well as an outline of the headlights. basically the sides and the C shaped running lights leaving the headlights clear.

probably do the tails in light smoke as well.

ill be getting the Banks Exhaust in black.

the wheels are going to be 22x10 wrapped in Nitto terra grappler G2 exact same height as stock the tire size will be 285/55/22 E rated 10 ply tires.

so basically about 2 inches wider than stock, i am still searching for the right wheel, i want to be positive offset, about 5 inches backspacing or more to keep them tucked under the truck.

should look pretty sick.

having a hard time deciding between these wheels

the problem is that rim doesn't show any specs offset, back spacing or sizes

no prices either.

if you saw one with anything probably was last years model

Ah, ok. I was just looking (discount tire) to see what’s available. I really like the bottom one. I will stick with the factory tire size though. I sure don’t want to do anything that makes the truck any taller (I only have 1” of space between the truck roof and the garage door frame).

truck with these wheels and tires will be exactly the same ride height, when you go up in wheel size you down down in aspect ratio, less tire, and more wheel same tire diameter, same height.

Ahhh, good to know. When I start looking into changing tire sizes, I go to my father-in-law (retired Firestone Mechanic/store manager). It makes perfect sense though.

I've also been looking into rims... I pick my Denali 2500 up Monday. Been looking at either 22's or 24 x 10's. Might just level it out. Not sure on that yet. Went with the maroon color. Definitely gonna color match the fender flares, and the chrome piece in the front below the grille.

I also have a set of all black steps from my AT4. Had them on for a couple weeks until I switched them out. Just sitting in the garage, PM me if interested... Phoenix area

This is from fuels website.  They show all available options. This is for the 8 lug.

Yep no 22” option and all their backspacing is 4.75” I need to be 5-5.5 to even get close to the factory fitment

so it turns out FUEL will be making the bottom wheel in a 22x10x+13 offset they aren't available yet for a couple more months. but a 10" wide wheel with +13 has a 6.09 backspace! the factory wheel is 6.3" so this is great news!

this means the aftermarket wheel will tuck under the truck with just 1/4 inch to spare from factory. i believe the 22" wheel will place the sidewall 1" higher from the only obstruction i see which is the upper ball joint.

at present the ball joint sits about 1" or so higher then the factory rim edge, meaning where the factory tire bulges out theres still about 3/4" before it would rub the tire. the new wheels will move the bulge of the sidewall above this location so i don't see anything that might rub on the inside.

this means the outer sidewall of the tire will be about 1.75 inches farther poke out that factory. with the tire size i picked i believe the truck will not need any modification to clear these tires.

unfortunately have to wait for them to become available before i can try it.

I have those Fuel wheels on order in a 22x10 but the -18 version, I like the wider stance look. Should be just a tad wider than fenders which is what I like, nothing crazy.

If they do end up making a +13 in that size I could see it being a good option for those who want the stock fitment. It’s always nice when we have options as typically with many 20’s and 22’s you get one offset option for a specific wheel width for your bolt pattern.

those should be about an inch more stick out than the +18 and pretty sure they will rub without a lift or modification. let us know how they fit and post plenty of pics!

Just my opinion could have bought a black work truck, you would have the same look for a lot less money.

Money was no object for me, I wanted all the bells and whistles and this is not my daily just for pulling the camper+boat and snow weather duty. I wanted he fancy truck so when we go on trips and vacation we can ride in style with the tow vehicle.
