texas edition Mis-fire cylinder 8

Bought this 2013 texas edition really nice truck but it started to throw mis-fire code and won't go into afm not that I want it to but wanted to delete this option and should I fix this issue before I delete it? Don't know much about this model Chevy any feed back would be awesome

The current fix could be super simple or it could require major internal repairs.

 

Inspect the current issue and see which way you need to go. It could be as simple as a $8 spark plug or needing a new spark plug wire or coil pack. Worst case is that the lifter is being a problem and that would mean removing the cylinder heads to address the issue.
