I just did mine yesterday.... WD40 and a plastic trim removal thingy 4f52ecde39a135ca05c38aa13132edfb.jpg

Fishing line and goo gone.  Wash and buff when finished.  Easier to do if it is warm outside.  

I've done it the same way on the past three trucks.  Takes about 90 minutes including buffing it out.

I will second this.  The ONLY way to debadge.  The wheel also makes quick work of decals and pinstripes.

..I've used it on tar and front grill grime too..
