LTZ vs High Country Leather Seats

Recommended Posts

Is there a difference between the leather seats in the LTZ vs High Country? The GM accessories website lists black vinyl for the Rear Entertainment for the LTZ, and it list Jet Black Leather for the High Country...Also when building the trucks, the LTZ on mentions “front” leather seats, but the High Country just mentions “leather”. Thanks!

LTZ is gonna use the "Black Vinyl" rear entertainment kit.  84556195.

More than likely certain parts or all of the "leather" seating in LTZ is "leatherette", aka kinda leather.

High Country/Denali will use leather.

The High Country has embroidered “High Country” logos in the head rests, and the stitching patterns on the seats themselves are slightly different.

Ah, gotcha. I see the different stitching now. Thanks.

I have yet to see a saddle interior in a T1 High Country, I've only seen black.

That was on the K2, and it was just the name of the color. The K2 High Country still had synthetic leather/vinyl just like an LTZ. The T1 High Country and Denali have actual leather finally (like Ford and Ram). The High Country and Denali have real wood accents now as well, unlike the LTZ/SLT which still use the fake plastic.

LTZ  -- Perforated Leather-appointed front seats
  -- H1Y Jet Black
-- HVE Gideon / Very Dark Atmosphere

HC  -- Perforated Leather-appointed

   --  H2U Jet Black

--  HVG Jet Black / Umber

Presumably the different RPO for the Jet Black versions reflects differences in material and/or construction.

LTZ seats have heated and ventilated as an option (part of LTZ convenience package), HC has it standard; same with rear outboard seat heat

LTZ and HC both have 10 way power with lumbar for driver and passenger

That’s interesting about the “wood”’ accents.
