What is this?

Looks like a new way to get $40-$80 out of your wallet and into theirs.

"Triboceramic"  made up, fancy word.  Trademarked.

And their product page may be in English, but it wasn't written by someone who is fluent in it.

Would you like to buy a magic bean today?

Agreed, looks like Slick 50.  The particles in slick 50 were so large that the oil filter would filter them out before they did anything.  After talking to a few machinists, that was the best thing about it.  It made a real mess out of bearing journals and cylinder walls.

When I see test results ranging from 30%-80%, fancy hard to understand picture/graphs...I immediately think scam. You're advertising that you got results ranging 50%?? And you want to advertise this? Why don't you just write...yeah, our "test" results were all over the board. We could have used bananas and gotten similar results, but we wrapped it in a fancy package. Thanks for your $80 bucks. Check out our other products, Swamp Land in Florida and the Fuzzy End of the Lollipop.

Boron is the active ingredient in this product. It is already used in SOME motor oils as a replacement for the lower levels of ZDDP in SN and newer API oil use classifications and for the exact stated purpose of this product. The description of HOW it works is the same descriptor you will get from Lubrizol concerning how ZDDP works.

Triboceramic is not a made up word. Search US Patent US797726B52

Consult Tribology Transactions Journal Volume 57 of 2014 issue #4 (below)

https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10402004.2014.909549?journalCode=utrb20

Now does it work. Yea if the concentration reaches 4% or 40,000 PPM according to the above article. And the results vary between 10% and 50% depending on "The exact conditions of operation"
