GM had to repurchase it because of an un repairable defect and appears to have forgotten about it months later.

Just going of my 2014 Which was a lemon and bough back from GM, it stayed on their lot for almost 2 months.

I believe a GM rep will eventually make his way down and drive it away. ( but dont quote me on that )

Shes looking so lonley! :(

My 16  buy back sat for roughly 2 months, then a flatbed showed up one day and took it to a local auction where my dealership was able to buy it back and resell it.

Interesting...What was wrong with it?

Front axle noise issues.

what is the small badge under the Silverado on the front finder?

I believe it’s the Z71 badge

as far as i know, the Z71 badge is larger and replaces the Silverado on the front fender on the 19 & 20's

It says '5.3L'. Must have been added by the OP.

GM, they owned it outright while it sat on the dealers lot.

Dealer wanted to sell it, but could not touch it.

Makes sense.

Reminds me a bit of when my buddy's 25 year old truck was stolen. He couldn't be without a vehicle so he had to take the payout from insurance, which he used to buy himself the closest truck to the one that was stolen that he could find. Then the cops found his truck. But, no matter how much he begged, insurance wouldn't let him give back the payout and get his truck back. He had to go to the auction and buy it back with his own money.
