Rain / water leak by rear window 19 Trail Boss

Has anyone else had this issue. I found water near the passenger side headrest. There's also a water stain on the headliner. Here's a video of the problem. Skip to the 2:00 mark to see the leak.

Bulletin/soft recall (whatever you wanna call it) posted about the rear window seal on the brake light that is leaking. Should be able to take it right in. Happened to me.

Sounds like it's just a problem with the 2019's? I wonder what they changed on the 2020's. I'll make sure to ask a lot of questions when I'm at the dealership. It's going in next Monday.

Not sure if anyone has had a problem with a '20. I've had my '19 RST since March of '19 with no leaks; and it's been in some long torrential rains. It's hit and miss on those that are leaking.

My RST dry as a bone for over a year and been through quite a few gully washers.

 

For my .02 it is not age but some insult vehicle suffered after manufacture that caused the frame to crack or the sealant to lose it's bond. I never take to high pressure air car washes which could compromise a seal. Also turned off the auto defog in the DIC, the grid has no thermostat and if auto turned on on a hot Summer day in 10 mins. glass gets hot enough to soften the sealant or expand enough to crack the surrounding plastic frame.......latter was the #1 cause of cracked frames on Avalanche rear windows.

Yes, 2020 owners have reported the same as well, but I don’t see as many.

Yes my 2020 2500 ltz is leaking! also already been to the dealer for squealing brakes! Bought it with 5300 miles, now at 8000, bunch of BS!

Did anyone with the leak have any issues from dealership in getting the problem fixed and did they say what the exact problem was?  Thanks.
