They could all be blowing smoke that’s the problem. We are all speculating.

Speculation:

  1. Reasoning based on inconclusive evidence, conjecture or supposition.
  2. A conclusion, opinion, or theory reached by conjecture.
  3. Contemplation or consideration of a subject; meditation.

You sure you want to take that stand? If so, then how do you make a decision? Casting of lots? Tea leaves? If all are liars, then why go to a doctor at all? Why seek information? Why would you conclude that the vaccine is harmful if that harm is based on a lie? Your words friend, not mine.

I have Ash trees. The had Emeral Ash Borers. Deadly to Ash trees. Odd thing about these insects is that they cannot fly more than a mile without finding a new host. Takes about five years to kill a stand of trees. So how does one save those trees?

You inoculate them. Much like a vaccine. Kill the insect within the tree for six years. Any host tree within a mile will die as will the invader AND they will move beyond the range of your trees. If you give up say in five years, they will reinvade your trees.

The key to knowing how to proceed is in knowing how the insect lives and kills its host. Battling COVID-19 could have been this easy. Someone, even just one, is telling the truth.

I just read an interesting paper by Dr Fauci. It covers the flu vaccine, COVID and virus in General. It’s interesting how he puts a period on vaccines and healthy people, kids, quarantines and masks. Of course you can find articles of different findings if you go back far enough but this would be his latest. Of course he gives himself cover by saying they were going by information they had at the time. He explains how rapidly the virus mutates and then says why vaccines aren’t really effective. And how even the flu vaccine is only 20-30 percent effective. He had to produce this paper to keep from being seen as a fraud. Being his stance on the vaccine evolved as he would say. Is amazing how Doctors can give themselves cover when people who were up on vaccines. Got COVID. Oh well at least it was a mild case. That’s when I said wait a minute. It’s like Global Warming. I just read an article that in the last 20 years we had more cooling than warming. Contently about the time they changed it to climate change. It all boils down to who getting paid. Human nature is right in front of your eyes. Some people believe what gives them comfort. Others what makes sense. I see families where one can’t give up the mask. I asked do you keep it on at home? Why would I do that is the answer.

And what other information could he have used? The information he would have a year or two later? C'mon man.

How is the truth "Cover".

You have a link to this article? Or can you scan and post it?

I’m technically challenged using my IPHONE. My wife read it to me from Epoch times. Dated February 24 as a commentary by David Bell. I wanting more information typed in Dr Fauci on my browser. This brings up additional information and links. Of course as I stated you can find a slew of slants depending on what a person wants to believe. I always hunger for information and remain skeptical.  I feel we’ve hijack this thread enough. So I’ll leave you to it. I didn’t answer your question. That’s is it’s a virus. They follow a pattern. Experience should have given them a clue.

Rethinking next-generation vaccines for coronaviruses, influenzaviruses, and other respiratory viruses: Cell Host & Microbe

Okay Stan I found and read. I'm not getting out of it what you did. Also, this article has 150 participants listed in the credits at the end. Fauci is but one of them and yes listed among the publishers.

The percentages you quoted earlier were for the flu. There was ZERO data on any one specific vaccine nor any attempt to categorize them as a group other that what is stated in the next paragraph.

What I got from this was that nothing we have now for COVID-19 LAST very long and by that, months. That HERD immunity is made impossible by the nature of the virus. So much for let's all catch it and create the heard effect.

This paper is a query into the next generation of antiviral vaccines noting the reasons, unknown in the first year, that complicate effective LONG-TERM solutions and the reasons the human body cannot self-immunize.

Moderna COVID-19 vaccine generates long-lasting immune memory | National Institutes of Health (NIH)

I dealt with an inexperienced employee with a "working level" of English proficiency yesterday.  She was exceptionally courteous and her efforts were outstanding.  Her computer was charging me more than on my paper bill and neither of us knew why.   I simply paid the extra few dollars to avoid confrontation.  When I got home, I called the customer service department of this major company and spoke to an agent who very nice.  She agreed with my concerns but had no solutions!   This scenario, imo, is part of the post covid reality where workers were able to move into employment opportunities without the pre pandemic level of qualifications.  I fully support workers challenging themselves but wondering why such opportunities exist?  Services are being reduced and facilities are closing because of staff shortages.  This is the "new normal" and takes it up a lot of time! 😉

A new level of patience is required. On our trip’s we book our hotel while we’re driving. We booked one got there computers were down they couldn’t give us a key. We had confirmation on the phone. The kicker was they have master keys. They could have let us in. We weren’t going to leave the room again until morning. No such luck.

In the early 70's I purchased a 1964 Econoline van to "fix up".  I was a living on my own, going to school/working part time, so I had very limited money to spend on this project.  I included a professional engine rebuild in my purchase financing thinking this would give me many years of trouble free motoring.  I was naïve and quickly learned the multitude of things that can go wrong with an automobile!   Fifty years later, I'm discovering the myriad of issues that can slow or stop the human body!     My post covid/retirement "spare-time" calendar is filling up with appointments for maintenance of auxiliary parts necessary to enjoy the golden years.  I am not complaining and I know I'm very fortunate.  I just had to laugh yesterday when my wife an I were looking for a three day window to go visiting.  We couldn't find  a space over the next few months without rescheduling a medical appointment!

We are going on a an Alaskan cruise this summer as a gift from our kids. This will be our first cruise and we're looking forward to the adventure.  Covid really impacted this industry and I'm glad it survived!  I have been watching YouTubes (Brilliance of the Seas) and this excursion is going to be an incredibly opulent experience.  Juxtapose this image with a 67 yr old man I met yesterday asking me if I had a cigarette.  I spoke with him for awhile as he appeared personable and safe.  He either was telling me a false story or he had 11 more days to make it before his wife or him see any income.  They are not homeless but very close.  In my brief encounter with this individual I felt guilt over my good fortune yet some pride over some of my better choices in life.

It really doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to be able to live on social security especially if there’s two people. My wife and I own two homes live in an effluent area and actually save money on social security. My kids will be the beneficiaries of our property and savings once we pass on. Paying off our first house early and investing in the second paying it off early. Allowed us to build and rent out our third. My wife didn’t start working until our last of three kids were in school. Five years before our first house was paid for. All while I was building a business earning mid to low middle class income. I was still able to maintain and rebuild classic vehicles. Not wearing name brand clothes and frequently visiting resale shops supplied most of our clothes. Except for appliances my house is furnished with very expensive furniture bought used. You’d never know it. I only bought two brand new personal vehicles. Most were CPOs. One got exchanged for a new one seven years later. The other is in my garage now 3x it’s original cost. I retired at 58 now 67 I’m living the dream. I’m not exceptional anyone can do it. First stop buying Starbucks coffee make your own. And here the kicker my favorite past time is going to the casino. I just got my statement from them. After 16 visits counting rooms meals and playing time. It cost me 2K. I see opportunity all over much more than when I started out. No excuses, just hard work. As far as helping the less fortunate. I do that through my church as stated in the good book.

We often strive to help those in need and this was escalated during Covid.  We know of couples who have monthly incomes considerably greater than ours and struggle to cover the basics.  There is a wide range of reasons why a person in our region is broke, hungry, homeless or living on the edge.  If they thought and behaved like us chances are they wouldn't need our help!   I have three middle aged children who each spent the first 20+ years of their lives with us yet they run the gamut of financial responsibility.  Neither think just like us.

MY opinion.

The first step of financial security, You have to care.

If you don't care, live under a bridge, I don't CARE.

First off I didn’t think about it. In my 20s married a couple of kids. Trying to stay ahead of the game. My wife the army brat telling me let’s buy a house. Me being a typical young guy says sure make it happen. I got my girl driving a hot rod I’m thinking I got it made. I was just smart enough to actually listen to my wife. Well she made it happen. Fast forward a few years we’re in Texas. I’m in my first air conditioned tractor with a radio. My wife handles the bills I’m on an allowance. To keep me spending everything on fast cars. At that time it’s daylight to dark seven days a week building our business. We take off when it rains us out. Suddenly getting tired of just music all the time I stumbled on to Dave Ramsey. I go home with this great new idea. Her answer what do you think I’ve been telling you all these years. Oh yeah I get it was my answer. I knew what you were doing all along.
