2021 silverados with 8 or 10 speed?

Just wondering if next year they may go to 10 speed on their 5.3s for all trims.

With all the issues still with the 8sp if I was GM that is what I would do.  But for now who knows.

Nothing official on 2021 MY for the 1500 trucks.  Waiting for order guides to come out.  So far the 6 speed is still carryover from 2019 and 2020 for the WT and Custom trims.  Colorado/Canyon still run the 8L45 for 2021 so I don't expect it to be going away just yet for Silverado/Sierra.

That makes sense. Keep making trucks that the industry says are not up to the standard of Ford and Ram. GM is always playing catch up. Maybe GM should just keep making respirators and masks.
