Hi, I'm new on this forum and I was wondering if a 2019 high country articulating (Tri-Mode) running board will fit a 2018 Silverado ltz crewcab?

Welcome to the site.

Do not think so, different part numbers. Plug in the model year 18 for the 19 PN and it tells you no.

Different P/N has zero impact of whether it will or will not fit.  A slightly different style or minor update can create a different P/N.

So, do they fit?

No idea.  I'm just saying because the P/N isn't the same, or even if it says it isn't compatible, doesn't make it so.

Understood, so, technically, I could be right.....

No.  Two totally different body style trucks and most everything is changed between the two.  Mount spacing and board length will be longer and won't line up.

No.  The control module is different as well.

I'd just get a set of Amp Research boards and call it a day.

You do know you could get the tri-mode steps on the 2016-2018, right? Why not just use the ones your truck would have come with if ordered?
