Could it have something to do with the optimizing setting? I’m going to turn mine off and find out.

Tested mine last night after updating to 13.6 (11 Pro) and everything worked as it did before so the update seems to have worked for me.  Again I'm in a 2018, but was having the same issue as those posting here and it hopefully seems to be resolved.

So i was suppose to bring my truck in yesterday morning to replace the bcm. Didnt make it because i slept in. However yesterday evening all my camera’s died and i got the blue screen. So i stopped by as i had this issue before and they couldnt do anything since it didnt do it for them. So i brought it in and asked about the bcm if its needed. Was told there were multiple faults found when they tested it. So its not just a software issue, at least with mine.

My mom has a ‘19 Blazer RS with wireless charging so i tested phones with hers and my vehicles. I used 2 IPhone 11 Pro-Max’s both with iOS 13.6, moms iPhone XR with iOS 13.6, and my Samsung work phone (Android). These were the results:

Silverado:

My 11 charged 1/10 times

Wife’s 11 charged 1/10 times

Moms XR charged 10/10 times

Android charged 10/10 times

On the Blazer:

My 11 charged 1/10 times

Wife’s 11 charged 1/10 times

Moms XR charged 10/10 times

Android charged 10/10 times

It seems to definitely be an iPhone 11 problem and not a GM problem. Even weirder was her iPhone XR worked on both trucks every time.

I would agree to that. My 11 works 7/11 times and the service advisor tried his samsung, worked 5/5.  But the tech said when they tested my bcm, their were faults. Not sure what else in the truck it controls, maybe my camera’s?

BCM controls a bunch of stuff so who knows

My charger is not controlled by the BCM. I added wireless charging capability by tapping into cigarette lighter wiring so I’m assuming BCM is not the problem.

So I just tried my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro she got last month it’s hit or miss just like mine. No difference.

Found this on the Apple forums. Lots of people have issues. I’m wondering if after the software update Apple doesn’t like some third party wireless chargers.

That is just a temporary fix. I came to the conclusion that certain 3rd party wireless chargers are causing it to disable wireless and that's why reboots fix it. It seemed to only happen on a certain charger I used at work. I ended up returning my phone and switching back to my Pixel 3.

It seems like a software issue since it works at times. Almost like Apple has a built-in feature to disable Wireless charging when it detects something it doesn't like.

That sounds like the most plausible explanation!!

Dropped the truck off today to get the bcm changed out. They tested it, no faults found and my iphone charges 10/10 times. Now i just gotta wait for a new projection display unit for the camera system.

Seems like it, yup.  When they did the test a couple weeks ago, it was showing faults, new one in, no faults. Still dont get why it wasnt working right with iphones but worked ok with samsung.
