Hi all,

Looking at a truck at Laura GMC but that's a 10 hour drive for me.  Any recommendations for GMC dealers in the Southeast (Carolinas, GA, north FL, VA preferred)?  Looking for a 2020 6.2 AT4 carbon pro in Satin Silver.  Thanks.

$10k off, that's a good deal. And it's in Huntersville, NC.

That's for all the new Sierras within 250-mile radius. Very easy to get $10k off. My 2019 RST was also $10k off. Those who say it's not true are the ones who bought it at retail price and shouldn't be giving advice, ha ha ha.

Thanks.  Yeah I've been in contact with Randy Marion but if I recall, they try to add a bunch of crap like nitrogen, leather protectant, etc. and bump up the price another grand.  And the emails I get in response are all "great truck, come visit us" type generic bs with nothing specific about OTD price.  I also did the cars.com search and one up in High Point and a few over in ATL but none are in stock.  Laura has one in stock and it's the cheapest but the travel part sucks.

I bought my 2016 F-150 that way... even agreed on the trade-in value.. haggled over the price, agreed to $10k off, told him I didn't want surprises. Add in the VIN of the specific car, be very clear with the no surprises part. If you have the VIN, they may get the impression you're serious about the purchase. Try it. It didn't stop their finance manager from trying to tack on upholstery protection.. took an hour of me going nope, no, naw, I'm good, no, a hard pass.... but for $10k off... hells yeah

Wife is the Marketing Director, so I know the in's and out's.

I've bought, my 16 Chevy SS , 18 Camaro 1LE, 19 Silverado.

Wife, her Equinox, and now Acadia.

On the customer facing side, they are an awesome family owned dealership who don't need to tack on all the BS.

Thanks.  Just checked out their site and all AT4s are at sticker minus the GM cash, so no deals really.  Thanks for the info though.

Well, never hurts to call,  With the Covid deal going on they are making some better deals.   Ask for the salesman Nick and let him know Josh referred you.

I bought my truck from Bill Smith GMC in Alabama and, at the time, they were offering free delivery within 500 miles. They also offered the best deals of anyone when I was looking around. Good Luck!

my purchase last august was all done by email, text and only went into dealer to pick up truck ( RST 12k off sticker)

this past april i bought a 2500 HD (8k off)  and never went to dealer at all, they delivered to my house.....i never even met the people.....

so its totally doable but i did talk to 30 dealers minimum

the kicker is it took some time of back and forth so wasnt done in a day or even a week....

right now inventory is low so be tougher but still can find some

addendums are a joke and anyone can get them removed if your a half decent at negotiating.

That has always been my experience with Randy Marion as well.  Good prices until they start adding in $1200 for fabric protector, etc.  You are running into one of the reasons I typically buy Chevy over GMC, the dealer pool is weak, in my opinion, in our area for GMC. Thought about doing the Laura GMC bit, but just wound up doing a Silverado myself. If you do run across a good GMC experience let us know.

I bought mine from Hendrick in Cary. They play the addendum game as well, but the deal was still better than what anyone else would do, even with the extras.

Hendrick in Norfolk, VA didn't take me seriously, so I went to Priority Chevy in Chesapeake. I bought my truck there.

Lauragmc will deliver. $199 first 100 miles plus $1.50 per additional mile.
