I'm unaware of any problems directly associated with DFM so far. Pretty good, since the engine has been out for 3 years now.

I have 29K miles on my truck and haven't had any problems with DFM (hopefully never). I don't believe I will disable it, unless I have a problem right before warranty then I will.

I have a Range unit that disabled the AFM on my Colorado. When I bought my Silverado, Range reprogrammed it for me so it would disable my DFM (great customer service). I only have 1000 miles on my Silverado and I have not installed the DFM Disabler. I have not even noticed the DFM on my SIlverado. I will give it shot as some point to see if I notice a difference.

Zero issues on my 19 with DFM. No need to touch or tune it is my personal opinion. Why even remotely risk something going wrong and GM voiding my warranty.

I think the engine responds better/faster with it disabled. If you want to feel the difference drive in manual 9 for 10 speed or 7 for 8 speed and DFM is disabled.
