I know this has probably been discussed here before but I’m new to owning a 2021 6.2 liter Denali and was looking for some advice on installing an oil catch can.  I’ve read that you really don’t need it on the new engines as they have baffles in the valve covers.  Any one have experience on this with the new motors?

Just put one on my 2021 today at 440 miles. I've never ran a DI engine without one.

What brand did you go with? I’m looking at either the UpR or Elite...

For those of us with less experience regarding DI engines, could somebody provide advice or recommendations regarding which options to pay for on the catch cans? I've been looking, but haven't had the time to learn the science behind the options. Those options seem to really drive the cost up. Please, and thank you.

UPR.....all I've ever used and quality is impeccable.

Have you heard of any warranty issues using these?  That was also a concern I had.

Nope.  But I always take it off before any dealer visits during warranty period just to be sure I don't get any grief.  It's one bolt and disconnecting two hoses....takes less than 3 minutes.

Did you add the optional clean side billet check valve?

Any suggestions on purchasing/installing a catch can on the 2.7l?
