2015 Sierra Denali 6.2 112xxx miles----- had since new.

List of repairs/issues:

A/C system failure-repaired

Drivers heated seat failure-element replaced

Nav antenna failed-replaced

Rear glass had to be replaced

Awful shuddering/vibration from transmission-repaired

All four magnetic shocks replaced both fronts failed around 55xxx and rears went bad around 80xxx miles

Trailer brake controller failed-replaced

Brake booster was extremely weak ran out of vacuum-replaced----not to mention this was very dangerous when backing into a parking spot or hooking up a trailer.

Both front A-arms-replaced

************Most notably now the truck recently dropped a valve at idle and cracked the block entire engine needed 10k repair plus plus.

Interior driver door harness went bad-replaced

Fuel tank evap sensor failed-replaced

Leak in moonroof headliner got wet-not addressed yet happened once

Learn from me! The truck tows a trailer about 4 times a year if that and is/was always bone stock with regular oil changes. Tired of the excuses from GM and everyone saying "****** happens" the quality of these trucks is awful and thats not even going into the quirks and issues with some of the repairs that were done (everything done at dealer). Do not buy these trucks and if you HAVE to have a GM don't buy the Denali its just a badge and some seat stitching (you do NOT want to have to replace the mag shocks for roughly 800$ a shock) not to mention the very sub-par rough ride they provide. I've ridden in many SLT's same generation and they are better riding trucks no question. Long story short stay away and don't go through what I did with a 60k+ plus truck. I love(d) GM but the company has left quality in the rear view mirror theres no excuse.

Hey sorry to hear about the extent of your repairs man.

Did you actually pay 10k for another AFM emgine?

Sorry to hear it wasn't a great truck for you. Better luck with whatever you go with next!

It’s looking like yes I’m taking the plunge on another AFM trash block. They even doubled down on AFM for T1 with dynamic fuel management that can go down to one cylinder…. I’d go new if they’d stop with all this “technology”. They claim AFM saves the consumer 5-7% fuel WELL with the amount of repairs you lose all those gains and then some. Plus if they want to use the environmental gain as the reasoning I would argue serious engine repair is less green LOL. It’s all about the money. Disgusted. And yes I realize any manufacturer you could have these problems but cmon!!!!

Joins forum, post some laundry list complaint threads, hmm..... Sucks that happened to you, but that is the minority. Most have zero issues with AFM (or most of the rest of the truck), so they aren't going to have repairs and get the cost savings with AFM. If you think the quality is bad here, go take a look at Ram or Ford, you will see the same laundry list. Grass isn't always greener, good luck but you are in the minority here (not saying it doesn't happen just not very often). BTW, you have an extended warranty, let them handle it...

Always amazed that folks think everyone else is experiencing the same thing with their trucks.

Both of mine run just fine.

My neighbor just got a new f150. It's been back to the dealer twice in two weeks. Now he said something is wrong with the screen on the dash.😩

It doesn't matter which brand forum you go to whether Chevy, GMC, Ford, Ram, Toyota, etc... you will find plenty of fan boys saying theirs is the best as well as those saying it's complete garbage. Every brand will have plenty of success stories as well as their share of problems. They all seem to be selling and I see plenty of each out there. I think fan loyalty is important but you need to decide what is important and find the brand that has the features you want and fits your particular niche. I personally prefer Chevy but my buddy has always been a Ford guy. JMHO...
