Z71 sport pkg

all star pkg

convenience pkg

safety pkg

gooseneck pkg

Have you sat in the seats? I don’t remember which seats the LT has but the base seats with the center jump seat are horrible in my opinion and I could tell that almost immediately, whereas the buckets in the upper packages are very comfortable. Make sure you sit in the seats you are ordering.

I have the leather package on my LT and I love it and I believe it automatically includes the seat storage cubbies in the back with the fold down cup holder arm rest (in case you don't get that with your other options). I happen to like the fold down center jump seat. I store my 5th wheel up against a driver side block wall. So, I have to slide over and exit through the passenger door occasionally. A center console would make that a real PITA.

Also, there's an option (I forget what it's called) that gives you an AUTO option in addition to 4hi, 4lo and 2hi.  It came on my truck and I think it only added around $200 to the price. Residing in So Calif, I haven't had the occasion to use it yet. But, it seems like it might come in handy if you're in mixed weather conditions.

I get the desirability of the jump seat. I ordered it in my Yukon when our kids were younger. I just wanted to make sure the OP recognizes that there are big differences in the seat options and one configuration might be uncomfortable for him. I found the base seating (which happens to have a jump seat in the middle) uncomfortable before I even got off the lot on my test drive. It wasn’t the jump seat that was objectionable, it was the driver seat itself. My point was one should sit in the seats for a while before ordering or buying.

As others have said, Autotrac® 2-speed transfer case with push button controls ~ $200

Do you really want to spend $1000 on the offroad steps? IMO there are many other options available for less OR go with the AMP powerstep for a little bit more.

Just my few cents.

for sure....spend the $200 forget the steps, aftermarket much better deals

I've built a similar 2500 LT package as well. What kind of price are they giving you? I got to use the Friends and Family and am curious as to how much it truly saves? THANKS

Great feedback. I did remove the steps. Have the auto transfer case selected and have the snow plow prep added for possible resale.

I understand the seats are different with a bench bar console. We have 4 kids so the bench is must. I’m ok with that.

Excited to get this thing ordered. Hopefully it’s close to the 12 week wait mentioned.

I ordered a '21 GMC 3500hd on March 27th.   My dealer has allocation and I do get a GM employee discount.  I hadn't receive a TPW (target production week) right up to the day that GM changed their build out date for 21's so I changed to a '22 since it would end up at that anyway.  It is now October 1st and my order has still not been officially accepted by GM.  My order had a preliminary order accepted code 1100 on April 7th and has not moved yet.   Very frustrating.

Damn....that's a long time to wait.  I ordered a 3500HD Denali 8/25 but might end up buying something else vs waiting who knows how long.

Update!  My truck was finally built on 12/11/21 and shipped to the dealer on 1/6/22.  Took delivery on 1/7/22.  It didn't have the heated and ventilated seats or the heated steering wheel but will be retrofitted when the parts are available.

Did they tell you that the steering wheel would be retro fitted?  I heard the seats were, not the steering wheel.

I am still waiting on mine.

Ordered first week of June.  Built week of 11/15.  Still sitting in Flint.
