Dumb feature to add to a pickup truck…

Recommended Posts

On my 21' I think the seat belt chime comes on at 14 mph. I've got about a 1/4 mile of gravel road between my house and shop building. I generally don't put the belt on when I'm making that short drive.

I use seatbelt extenders to be able to get in the truck with a duty belt on.  Also has the added benefit of knocking off the bitching betty seatbelt reminder when off road or otherwise not buckled.  I use the shortest 3" ones and that works GREAT.

You’ll soon have to buckle up to hitch up a trailer, drive around a job site, or even to just to move the thing around on your property. Nothing against seatbelts obviously but this is idiotic to put on a truck that people use for work.

More nanny state at work.
