Now, back to your truck, what part is not Auto dimming? There are quite a few things that have that function.

Is your truck a carryover K2 (LD), or the new body style?

On the new body style, Intellibeam  is activated/deactivated by pushing the button on the end of the blinker stalk. 

(instead of the 'troublesome' method in the video)

My truck is the new body style and I have tried several times pushing the button in and out on the turn signal but no luck getting it to turn back on.

Does the icon illuminate on your cluster?  Should be a traditional highbeams logo with an A within it.  I believe it's green whereas the highbeam indicator is blue.
