Hey guys, has anyone painted/wrapped/hydrodipped their silver interior trim pieces on their Silverado? I want to do mine, not sure what color would go good with my saddle brown interior like the one pictured (not my truck), whether it be a more matching style color or a contrast style color. Open to all ideas. Thanks!

Yeah vinyl wrapping them is really popular not a lot of hydrodipping anymore.

I would just do them black if you really need to change them

I think it would look alright.

Maybe just find the same saddle color and do everything saddle.

Or that too lol the T1 High Country’s have it painted in like a bronze color, it’s actually very nice

Things I would consider to compliment the saddle color and be unique.

  1. Brushed/burnished brass
  2. Wood to match the other wood
  3. Copper

I'm mildly annoyed with the overall mismatch hodge podge of materials with no rhyme or reason to them, Dark gray or saddle, dull black plastic, a dribble of chrome then some wood...

...and on a side note, why does the shifter hide the seat climate controls?

Maybe like a light copper? Or a brushed light beige maybe? Also idk about that shifter lmao. But yea, brushed sounds nice, I know the Sierra’s have the brushed aluminum trim, very neat

I haven't used plasti-dip before, but I was thinking about trying it out.

Think there's different finishes too. Or give it a clear coat it if you like how it turned out.

Imo a satin black would look great. Nothing too glossy or flat.

Very true, speaking of satin finishes what about a satin silver?

No, the cool tone of the silver would clash with the warm tone of the saddle.

I think doing the woodgrain would make it look too much like an 80's conversion van, too overpowering. Which they were cool in the day, but not nowadays. I like the black idea

Check out Lonestar Hawaiian on Youtube. He just done his Trail Boss in a satin black/gloss carbon fiber. Looked pretty good done in a two tone.
