Borla Atak cold start/rev 5.3

Buddy brought his TB over and we did Borla Atak muffler.  Color me impressed.  Sounds so damn good. maybe picked up a couple of horses at same time ?

 Sounds good, Any particular part number? And was it clamped or welded in place?

Mine made 354hp/393lb-ft to the wheels with the ATAK catback (stock otherwise), its a 6.2 of course. I didn't get a Dyno pull before the exhaust however. So I don't know what mine made but another video I came across with a stock 6.2 on a Dyno made 350/376. If those numbers are representative that would be a decent chunk of power for just an exhaust. of course it was a different truck, different dyno with unknown calibrations, and completely different conditions, so who knows!

 

Here's my install video. It's honestly not difficult to install at all, easier yet if you get the system that keeps the factory tips if you prefer the stealthy look.

Was this the full catback or just the muffler? If just the muffler what is the part number? Mahalo
