I'm ordering some new wheels and tires for my 2022 LTD High Country.

Going with Fuel Mavericks in Chrome of course.

22x10 +10 offset

Michelin Defender LTX M&S . I went wider but same diameter 305 45 22.

Can I use my lug nuts off my factory 22s?

I got the locks too.

Duh, I just realized they are not exposed.

Plain lug nuts (open ended)   will work.

Nevermind.

BTW the wheels will be here tomorrow 😲.

BTW 2

I got them at Discount Tire for $539 each.

Custom Offsets was a bit more.

F them.

For that money I don't like how they come with a cheap looking plastic lug covers.

Probably need open ended lugs but i do not believe that you can use our OEM lugs for these rims, probably a different seat type.

I haven't had an aftermarket wheel since 2003 that had metal center caps.

They were 17" American Racing chrome.  Nice wheels put 200,000 miles on them over 5 winters and they still looked good

Remember 17s was a big deal back then.

These Fuels will not see a snowflake , I'm keeping the stock setup for the yuck.

I have yet to see any aftermarket wheel that will fit stock lugnuts because they are so large. You need smaller lugnuts. I haven't seen any of the Fuels with this type of cap off to see how large the lug holes are. Stock lugnuts are 22mm. If you need to buy new ones, they are M14x1.5 thread.

with that much offset I bet you go thru lots of ball joints

I'm pretty sure im ok . Not my first rodeo.

Stock is +28

These are +10.

Not -44.

BTW

I've never replaced a ball joint on any of my previous 16 Chevy trucks . That's almost 3 million miles richard.

I didn't realize that site had a visualizer for offset! I found it a while ago and have been using it to find diameter and comparison to other sizes. I hadn't looked at anything for wheels.

Are you lifted? You're probably going to rub. I put on 20x10 -19 wheels and had to add a 5mm spacer to clear the calipers and I get a very slight rub on the mud flap on the front. I'm running stock size 275/60/20 tires. I have a set of Rough Country flares going on and they require the removal of the mud flap so it should go away once I get them on. If it doesn't I have a 2" lift for the front waiting to go on.

No it's a stock High Country with the factory 22s.

Not lifting or leveling.

These are 22x10 +10. It should work without spacers no problem. I'm picking them up Friday.  I'll pop a front tire off and double check Friday night. Tires are same diameter but 1.2" wider.

It's the width that's going to cause it to rub slightly at full lock.

You are going to need the spline style lug nuts for these. The OEM lugs won't fit. I went with open end spline ET (extended thread) lug nuts for mine. They will also allow you to run 3/8" spacers if needed.
