New today said price of gas for the nation is down 40 cents in the last month. More like 20 cents around here. 

National average they said was $3.03/gallon.

It dropped .05 a couple weeks ago here to $2.79.

It jumped here on Friday by .15 ($2.48), then it started dropping. Almost back to earlier price.  Today$2.34

Low $2.65 up to $3.89 north of Boston. Lots of places in the $2.80ish range
