They raised the price another $1,900 for the 2023 AT4. I am just about out at this point. That's a $2800 increase (including OnStar) since I ordered in April and it got pushed to a 2023.

For anyone who has been shopping different brands, are all the manufactures jumping like this? I am thinking of shopping other brands. I haven't really paid attention to other brands since I ordered the AT4 in April.

"Pricing for the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 has increased by $1,000 over 2022 on every trim level except for the Denali Ultimate and AT4, which have received respective price increases of $900 and $1,900."

I thought I read something the other day that Ford did the same. All these truck makers know what the others are doing...so I doubt you will see any price variation outside of the "normal" difference from brand to brand.

Technology has made the world smaller and easier to track data, they know the market.

I no longer own the Chevy, but have to point out Ford has done the same. I ordered mine when it was $71,000 in January 2020. It was $74,500 by the time I got it, but my price was fixed so I didn't have to pay. A dealership in Iowa offered 3% below invoice so my price was $63,000.

The 2023 model shows $79,000 for the exact same configuration I have.

Exactly.. and if no one wants it... they will start adding the rebates. Simple supply /demand folks...

So glad I got my 2022 when I did.  My truck was built before the March and April hikes they did right after they hit the lots.  Mine stickered for $49,940, it was $51,825 for the same truck by May.

When the market does finally cool off, they'll have more room to offer incentives.

Can't really blame them when the biggest sellers are the most expensive trims.

When I see shows with some of the classic from the 60s and 70s they usually add what they would cost in today’s dollars. Usually it hits mid 20K to mid 30s for the most desired. So what happened. People for the most part want bling and useless electronics. There’re not drivers. Trucks were for work usually much cheaper. The joke is on you. They jacked them up make huge profits and people keep paying. My wife’s Genesis reminds me of all the rear drive impalas I’ve owned. Only much more powerful and efficient. I’ll continue to drive my Avalanche, while driving a rear drive sports sedans. The only new truck I’ll consider is the maverick. At least Ford may have nailed it.
