We all come to Forums looking for answers to Problems we have...How many come to just say...I love my truck?

I personally came here to learn about my truck and to learn about problems others were experiencing and to basically learn and try to help if I can.  But I want to say......I LOVE my truck.  Let me tell you why.  It's like riding in a tomb.  No noise...none at all.  If I don't turn the radio on all I hear is my ears ringing...so stupid quiet.  I love the way it rides...It's a 2500, it should ride like a 2500 but yet it's so smooth...kudo's to GM for that.  Another thing, it gets great gas mileage for something that weighs 7800lbs.  Even when towing our camper...plenty of power, the brakes are to die for, the engine is quiet and is always there when I need extra power.  The steering is a little heavy but it's something you get used too.  The brake pedal is a little high compared to the gas pedal, again something you get used to.  The mirrors are amazing.  The 6L90E is to die for with smooth shifts and talk about reliability....wow...that trans is amazing.... I can hook it up to our camper that has a thousand pounds on the tongue weight, not a problem.  I can hook up the 7 pin connector and it charges the batteries and keeps our 12 volt fridge cold and the freezer even colder.  I think it's an amazing truck.  It's not perfect, but what is?  So how about people start bragging about their HD trucks on this post.  I would love to hear great proud moments and how much you really love it...

I totally agree. I love my truck. It has far exceeded my expectations in every way. This forum is great! 2 weeks ago I didn't know the assist handle existed and now I have one sitting out in the garage waiting to be installed. At 73, I need all the help I can get. I'm calling this my 'till death do us part truck'.

I’ve joined a forum for every vehicle I’ve owned pretty much starting back in 2003. I joined for the same reason Jett did. I love my truck too.

I forgot to mention, on my little 750mi trip, I got to use the rear 110v outlet along with the front 110v and both worked awesome.

front to power a short extension cord to the back seats so the kids could watch their dvds.

and the back was used to power the heater and aerator for my oldest daughters fish tank. The fish didn’t freeze or die from lack of oxygen so I guess that’s a plus. If they did, I’d have to break out the shore lunch haha

My first was in 2006 when I bought my trailblazer ss. This one in 2014. You definitely get great info and early warning on potential problems.

I use a power strip that I bought off Amazon.  It's the flat plug in and has a 6ft. cord.  I just plug it into my front outlet and run the cord along the center hump to the back.  2 tie wraps later it's secured to the all weather floormats directly under the HVAC vents and all is good.  It also has 2 USB plug ins in the event someone didn't bring their 120 attachment.  Very cool in my opinion.  Looks great, does the job.  Enough said I guess...lol...

Came for the same reasons. With insight from members have headed off many common issues. It's a 2015 and I'm still finding new things I do not know about it. Yea, love the brakes. She tips in right at 5K and as it has the same brakes as a double cab it will stop on a dime and give you nine cents change. Even after 165K miles. Super easy on parts. Quiet? Can't tell over the constant ringing in my ears. :P

Are we playing closet too, without going over? If so, my guess is 12 members.

Let me know what I win, and when I will see my prize😬

I bought a MBRP cat-back exhaust system.  I also got the Black Matte exhaust tip that goes with it.  Look at their website...they give demos of how it sounds.  All I can say is....I am impressed.  Sounds soooo awesome when you give it the beans.  There is a little cabin drone at highway speeds but is not bad.  I highly recommend.

Oh yeah, where in Maine do you live?  I'm from PI, grew up in Naples.
