2024 GMC 3500 DRW Denali with RAM Longhorn Brown leather seats, and 6.7 powerstroke HO. And turning radius of F450. All the digital gauges from super duty, and led bed lighting with bed switch.

That’ll pretty much do it for me.

You're on the same page as I was.  Picking and choosing from the different manufactures to create the perfect truck.  I like your choices!

If you’re going that route. My father had a 95 Chevy one ton dually with the Texas Stagecoach package. I’d exchange the 6.5 diesel for the Ford 7.3 or 5.9 Cummins and Allison transmission with a 410 rear end. If I was looking for a pulling ring.

Now that would be a nice combo!

Tesla Cybertruck, just kidding 🤪 looks like something from a polygon video game from the 1990s.

I am really happy with my 2500 High Country. Only improvement would have been a 2500 Denali Ultimate.

I'm glad you're kidding about the Tesla.  Although....no I'm just kidding too.  LOL.... If money was no object to me I still would be in a cloth seat model truck.  Sure it would be nice to have the goodies, even if money didn't matter, but I love GM cloth and I love simplicity too.  But there's no doubt the Denali's are like WOW!!!  Holy crap WOW.... I don't blame you a bit!

I prefer the substance of a thing over the appearance of a thing. Simple, functional, reliable, responsive and visceral. I don't need Top Fuel power or F1 handling, Baja capability or Semi tractor towing. It isn't a seat at a concert. Not my office, living room, mud room or bedroom. I have those places for those needs. I don't need a dozen cup holders or a seat heater. And I don't need faux anything. Engage me in the experience of the drive. I don't want forward braking. I want braking that is reliable and powerful and a drive that doesn't put me to sleep. Keeps me focused on the task at hand. Driving. They quit making those vehicles right after installing AM radios.

If it looks like leather, it better be leather. If it looks like chrome...... :idiot:

I totally agree.  But wouldn't it be nice to have all of those cameras and the extra special option of accu jack and auto suck?  😂  I'm just kidding with you.  But I do agree with you.  My poor mans custom model is all I'll ever need.  I so love that truck.  Best damn vehicle I've ever owned!

That’s the problem with performance vehicles too. The last one I bought even though it was a bargain for what you got was the trailblazer ss. I just wanted the bigger engine. Didn’t need all the other performance equipment to cruise the highway. Luckily I had a trusted shop to install super chargers when I wanted them. Or banks for my diesels. You look at any vehicle and want the engine upgrade. It comes in a package for sometimes thousands more. I still have fond memories of the Chevy base model with the 427.

I’ve just read a review in car and driver about a super charger package direct from Ford with a warranty. Making 700hp with the 5.0. About the same time I read an article that a Ford dealership in Georgia that will install that package on a regular cab work truck. Out the door for 45K.
